The medication is being pitched to viewers because it apparently alleviates some ailment, yet because the pharmaceutical companies are required to inform people of possible side effects of the drugs, the commercials can list of some of the worst and most embarrassing things you can imagine, including sudden bowel distress, dizziness, pain, sexual dysfunction, a constant urge to go to the bathroom and so on.

Looking at the IRS website is a bit like those commercials. If you have in the past filed a fraudulent income tax return, or one that the IRS believes was fraudulent, you can by reading the site, find a list of worst-case scenarios that include for you years in prison and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fine.

With April 15 having arrived, the time to discuss potential irs tax penalties and the details of the return(s) in question is now. In some cases, of course, the "fraud" is no more than a disagreement between you and the IRS over accounting matters, bookkeeping, employee errors and the like. In other situations, taxpayers have made mistakes that they wish to deal with now so that they can move on with their lives and their businesses.
